Welcome to Refuge RR

Refuge RR has been a registered charity since 1990, and was initially created in 1987. While located in Ontario, Canada, we also provide full assistance to the entire province of Quebec. We rescue, rehabilitate and offer refuge to animals that have been abused, neglected or abandoned. We often travel vast distances to help animals in need and have experienced, qualified people caring for them here at the Refuge.

We rely entirely on your generosity to keep running. We have no paid employees, and 100 percent of your donations and sponsorships go directly to the animals. Join us in our mission to offer refuge, rescue and rehabilitation to creatures of all shapes and sizes, and help us change the way the world treats animals.

Hi! Friends of Refuge RR. The weather is smiling at us so far and although the temperature will be cool, it will be a nice day to gather for our fundraiser event OKTOBERFEST 2025.

The event is Saturday October 26, 2024 from 1 pm to 5 pm.

LEVÉE DE FONDS CALENDRIER 2025 REFUGE RR 2025 CALENDAR FUNDRAISER!

Dear Animal Lovers and Supporters of the Work of Refuge RR,
Although we are late due to events beyond our control, the 2025 Refuge RR Calendar is available this year. You will get a glimpse of animals rescued by Refuge RR, from situations that endanger their lives and well-being.
We are pleased to finally reveal our cover star “EMBER”, the sole survivor of a house fire with severe burns to her ears, sinuses, mouth and paws. All of her hair and whiskers were burned off (more on EMBER in the “Look Back at 2024” newsletter coming soon).
The calendar has been offered for several years for the same modest contribution of $25 CAD/each, shipping included (Canada only).
*** There will be ONLY ONE PRINT of the calendar so, to avoid being left behind, ORDER your calendar(s) NOW using one of the following options.
A. INTERAC E-TRANSFER to refugerr.etransfer@gmail.com (ALL proceeds will go to Refuge RR) and   1. Indicate the quantity, your name, address and email,
   2. *** IMPORTANT – Please use the password: calendar
   3. If space is limited to send your information on the e-transfer, send them in a separate email using the email you used to send the e-transfer to refugerr.etransfer@gmail.com to allow us to match them with your e-transfer.
   4. If you would like the calendar to be sent to a third party, mention it in the email and indicate their name and address.
